Welcome to Anzu ("we", "our", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you register for an account, we may collect:

• Phone number (for SMS-based login)
• Apple ID identifier (for Apple Sign In)
• Nickname, avatar, and gender (provided by you)

1.2 Usage Data

We may collect:

• Device information (model, operating system version)
• App usage statistics (features used, session duration)
• Monster creation and battle history within the App

1.3 User-Generated Content

• Monster configurations (names, descriptions, attributes, skills)
• Monster names and descriptions submitted for AI image generation
• Images uploaded for monster avatars
• AI-generated monster images created through the App

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Anzu service
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account
• Enable monster creation, battles, and community features
• Generate monster images from the names and descriptions you provide
• Improve and optimize the App experience
• Communicate service updates and announcements

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data with:

• Cloud hosting and file storage providers who help operate the App and serve generated images
• SMS delivery providers, including NetEase Yunxin, to send login verification codes
• Apple, when you choose Apple Sign In
• AI image generation providers, including OpenRouter Seedream, to create monster images from your submitted prompts
• Law enforcement when required by applicable law

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and secure server-side storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained while your account remains active. You can delete your account in the app through:

Settings → Delete Account

You may also request account deletion outside the App at anzu.one/delete-account.html.

When you delete your account, your account profile, created monsters, generated monster images associated with your account, and related battle data are permanently removed from active systems. Limited records may be retained only when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party services for authentication, SMS delivery, cloud hosting, file storage, and AI image generation. These services process data only as needed to provide the relevant App feature and have their own privacy policies.

7. Children's Privacy

Anzu is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access and receive a copy of your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
