Welcome to Anzu ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Anzu. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. User-Generated Content
- You retain ownership of the monsters and content you create within the App.
- By publishing content to the community, you grant Anzu a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the App.
- You agree not to create content that is offensive, illegal, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the experience of other users
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Impersonate any person or entity
5. Monster Battles
- Battle outcomes are determined by the game's mechanics (dice rolls in the current version).
- Battle results are final and cannot be contested or reversed.
- Experience points and leveling rewards are governed by the game rules as implemented in the App.
6. Payments and Premium Features
The current MVP build does not require payment to use core gameplay. If premium features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases are introduced in the future, the relevant pricing and billing terms will be presented clearly in the App before purchase.
7. Intellectual Property
- The Anzu App, including its original content, features, functionality, branding, and design, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
- The Anzu name, logo, and related marks are our trademarks.
- You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the place where we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country or region.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
